Project Summary
Glen Mhor is a sporting estate on the West Coast of Scotland, near Lochcarron. ak|a have been involved with an overview of the estate buildings and development of proposals to provide modern facilities for the workings of the estate. Proposals include a new workers house, refurbishment of the existing steading buildings to provide a butchery
and larder, new kennels, refurbishment of bothy buildings to provide a shoot room with catering facilities and alterations and extension to the existing estate house to provide contemporary open plan living. Development across the estate is designed using local materials and vernacular forms.
