Project Summary
ak|a were commissioned to design a sympathetic extension to a fine ‘B’ listed 18th century manse in rural Aberdeenshire.
A lean-to garden room was provided as a sunny extension to the kitchen and the heart of the house.
Drawings and details were prepared by hand and listed building consent obtained.
The finished addition sits well against the original manse and the alterations provide an enjoyable link between garden and family areas.
